Another Unity in the Community event took place at Sunderland Minster Church on Saturday, 18th October.
The program was attended by various voluntary and non-voluntary organisations working in the community.
A big thank you from FODI to the wonderful organisers of the Unity in the Community event at the Minster on 18th October, and to all the great people who visited our stall to speak with us.
This program was initiated in the aftermath of last year’s riots in Sunderland to restore peace and harmony among the city’s diverse communities.
There was another music program on Sunday at the Beacon of Light which was also part of the Unity in the community.
FODI had a table there as well, our staff and volunteers were happily explaining to FODI’s projects and activities to the participants.
