Group discussion with FODI’s Women’s group

The National Institute for Health and Care Research has conducted a group discussion with the FODI Women’s group on Friday, the 3rd of October, regarding access to women’s health and care services. The purpose of the group discussion was to collect their insight about their experience of accessing health care services in Sunderland and to discuss the barriers and consider what helps women in Sunderland access health care services.

Most of our service users were happy with the services they got from the NHS in Sunderland, and we had a lot of positive feedback about it.

The session was well-attended, and participants loved to share their experience with the researcher. At the end of the session, they received a £25 Love to Shop Voucher.

The group discussion has been done as part of a research project aiming at increasing access to women’s healthcare services in Sunderland.
