The fifth session of Unity in the Community took place in the Roker URC church on Saturday, the 13th of September.
The program was well-attended and filled with a spirit of unity and solidarity. Our service users enjoyed a variety of fun activities, delicious food, and lively dance performances.
This session marked the culmination of the roadshow event aimed at restoring peace and harmony among all residents of Sunderland in the aftermath of last year’s riots, which had caused tensions and fear.
The roadshow began in Coalfields in March and concluded in the North of the city in September, successfully fostering a sense of community and togetherness throughout Sunderland.
