This is Satellite drop-in for asylum seekers and refugees living in the Houghton-le-Spring area. Visit us at Space 4, Newbottle Street, Houghton-le-Spring to register and talk to our team. Every Thursday, 10am – 12 noon.

This group is funded by the National Lottery and Tudor Trust. Our Women’s Group meets every Friday during term time from 10 am to 12:30 pm in Trinity Church on Stockton Road in Sunderland. We offer different activities for women such as Yoga, crafts and art. We also have a creche for children.

FODI has had a successful bike project for the last couple of years and we have been lucky to have dedicated volunteers who have transformed people’s lives with the repairing and giving out of bikes to asylum seekers.

This includes different activities which you can get involved in such as our sewing group and gym classes.

We provide free, unaccredited English lessons for asylum seekers, refugees, and other migrants aged 18 and over. The lessons are for people who are not eligible or cannot attend college classes.
