On 15 August, FODI was proud to have a stall at this year’s wonderful Unity in the Community event at Sunderland Minster.
At a time when divisive forces can sometimes feel increasingly present, both in the wider world and within our communities, it was particularly uplifting to see so many people and organisations come together in a spirit of unity, friendship and inclusion.
The event brought together groups, community organisations and individuals from across Sunderland, creating a wonderful opportunity to connect, celebrate our diversity and strengthen the bonds within our community.
A huge thank you to the indefatigable Unity in the Community team for all their hard work in bringing everyone together and creating such a positive and welcoming event.
We were delighted to be part of it!
