The FODI Women’s Group attended the Recipe Box Event at Space4 in Houghton-le-Spring on Friday, the 8th of May
The group spent time connecting and chatting with members of the community in a warm and welcoming environment, enjoying meaningful conversations away from the pressures of everyday life. Everyone greatly appreciated the delicious food, as well as the kindness and hospitality shown by the staff and volunteers at Space 4.
At the end of the visit, members returned home with bags of fresh ingredients and recipe ideas to try with their families.
On behalf of our service users, we would like to thank Space 4 for their generosity, collaboration, and continued support.
Space 4 also hosts the FODI satellite drop-in every Thursday, where our staff and volunteers spend time registering and welcoming new arrivals into the community.
